About National Youth & Family Resource Directory

Building a reliable national infrastructure for locating and coordinating youth and family services.

Our Mission

The National Youth & Family Resource Directory was created to solve a persistent problem facing families, young people, and the professionals who serve them: critical youth and family resources are scattered across dozens of websites, outdated brochures, social media pages, and government databases.

Families in crisis often don't know which organization to contact, whether they qualify for services, how to begin the intake process, or whether the information they find is still accurate. The Resource Directory brings this information into one organized, searchable platform — free for anyone to use.

Our Commitment

We are committed to maintaining accurate, up-to-date resource information through ongoing research, community outreach, direct organizational engagement, and the PATHS Verification Program.

Every organization in our directory has been submitted, reviewed, and approved through a defined process. Verified organizations have undergone an additional level of review to confirm their contact information, services, and coverage area.

We believe that access to reliable youth and family resources should not depend on knowing the right people or living in the right community. Our goal is to reduce the time families and professionals spend searching for help and ensure that every user is directed to organizations that can actually serve their needs.
